G.S.R 190(E) regarding Motor Vehicles (Registration and Functions of Vehicle Scrapping Facility) Rules, 2021

On 13th August 2021, Prime Minister Modi launched the Vehicle Scrappage Policy. The policy was introduced to reduce India's vehicular air pollution, of which the transport sector contributes 14%, by phasing out old and unfit vehicles in an environment-friendly manner.
