FRQ Light Vehicle Brake Tester
The FRQ NET brake tester is designed to test passenger cars, quad bikes and quadricycles as well as mopeds, motorcycles and tricycles with maximum load of 4 Ton per axle to the step. Its main task is to carry out a quick and effective verification of the operating status of the braking control, accurately measuring the maximum braking on the front and rear axles, handbrake, as well as the ovality of the braking system discs and drums. .
The system consists of two independent roller benches that guarantee perfect tire adhesion in adverse conditions and is equipped with strain gauges to measure braking effort. The bench has independent motors to drive the rollers. It also incorporates security systems that detect the presence of the vehicle throughout the test and the loss of grip of the wheels at the time of measurement. The indication is independent on each wheel and the braking range from 0 to 6 KN. A computer is in charge of controlling the entire measurement system and the operation of the machine. The control can be by keyboard, mouse or remote control and the visualization is carried out by means of a highly intuitive software.
